Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service set forth the conditions and procedures for using the leveraged/inverse ETF compounding effect simulation tool provided by ETF Calc (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) through etf-calc.com.

Article 2 (Service Description)

The Service provides the following features free of charge.

  • Leveraged/inverse ETF return simulation based on historical index data
  • Scenario-based ETF compounding effect analysis
  • Exchange rate simulation
  • Educational materials on ETF compounding effects and volatility decay

The Service includes advertising (Google AdSense), and by using the Service, you agree that advertisements may be displayed.

Article 3 (Disclaimer)

This Service is not investment advice.

  • Simulation results provided by the Service are theoretical analyses based on historical data or hypothetical scenarios and do not guarantee future investment returns.
  • Simulations do not reflect certain factors such as tracking error, NAV premium/discount, dividends, currency hedging costs, and transaction costs, so actual ETF performance may differ.
  • Users are solely responsible for any investment decisions made based on information from the Service, and the Service operator bears no liability for any investment losses.
  • The Service does not guarantee the accuracy of data from sources such as KRX and Yahoo Finance, and is not responsible for damages caused by data errors.

Article 4 (Terms of Use)

  • The Service is available to anyone free of charge without registration.
  • Users must use the Service only for lawful purposes and must not engage in activities that interfere with the normal operation of the Service.
  • Mass data collection through automated means (crawling, scraping, etc.) is prohibited.

Article 5 (Intellectual Property)

All intellectual property rights, including the design, source code, content, and logo of the Service, belong to the Service operator.

  • Users may freely use the Service's content for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Prior written consent is required to commercially reproduce, distribute, transmit, or create derivative works from the Service's content.

Article 6 (Service Changes and Suspension)

  • The Service operator may change or suspend all or part of the Service without prior notice due to operational or technical requirements.
  • No compensation will be provided to users for changes or suspension of the free Service.

Article 7 (Changes to Terms)

These Terms may be modified as needed, and updated Terms will take effect upon notification within the Service. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may discontinue use of the Service.
